This mattress is made out of 100% organic materials, and the price includes the mattress, the pillow top, and the box spring. Queen size 100% Organic Cotton Cover This is NOT a blend.  In some "organic" mattresses the manufacturer will use a blend of organic cotton and polyester, or something similar.  There are no other materials in this cotton cover.  It is Certified Organic Cotton. 100% Organic Wool Quilting This is NOT a blend.  In some "organic" mattresses the manufacturer will use a blend of organic wool and polyester, or something similar.  There are no other materials in this wool quilting.  The sheep that this wool comes from graze on a certified organic farm.  In some "organic" mattresses a doctor prescription is required in order to apply a chemical that makes the mattresses fire-retardant.  No doctor prescription is required for this mattress because wool is naturally fire-retardant.  This wool far exceeds the requirements for the fire retardant code by incorporating a technique called "Organic Needle Punching".  This is a process where the wool is put through a machine and many, many needles work to compress it into a very dense, 0.25 inch thick wool. Latex Padding This is an all-natural product.  No chemicals. Fillers There are no polyester fillers used in this mattress.  Some "organic" mattresses use as much as 5% polyester filler. Box spring The box spring is made of 100% organic materials.
